I am a graduate of the University of Washington's Physical Therapy Program. I have been with Balance PT since 2000 and can't imagine working any where else. My lifelong fascination with movement and the artistic and athletic potential of the human body has led to my involvement with dance, theater, voice, yoga, movement re-education, and physical therapy.
I combine a variety of manual therapy skills including strain/counterstrain, muscle energy techniques and myofascial release with a holistic approach to posture and movement re-education - tailoring the treatment plan to your individual injury, health history, activities, lifestyle and goals.
I am a Guild Certified practitioner of the Feldenkrais Method ® - www.feldenkraisteachersinseattle.com a powerful tool to improve awareness, flexibility and the ability to organize yourself to perform any action with greater ease and efficiency. I will work with you to help you discover the tools to prevent injury and to develop the skills to enjoy a lifetime of mobility and balance.
